Matthew hails from Virginia where he discovered his passion for dancing at a very young age. Ever since he could remember he loved dancing and performing. He started out dancing in a talent show at his elementary school and knew right then and there that dancing would always be a part of his life.
At the age of 18 he began taking Salsa and Hip-Hop lessons in downtown Washington, DC where he quickly realized that dancing was going to be his career. Matthew began his Professional Teaching Career at the Alexandria, Va. Arthur Murray Dance Studio in 2006 where he quickly developed into one of the studio’s most advanced and successful instructors. He developed his teaching skills through the continued training of the industry leading dance coaches.
Matthew has competed professionally at numerous dance competitions, from New Orleans to New York, Boston and Washington, to name a few. As a highly Certified Arthur Murray dance instructor he enjoys the fact that he can share his dance experiences and advanced teaching skills to make learning To Dance Fun, Fast and Easy for Everyone.
